AUSTRALIAN MADE LAMINATED STOCKS
Sunshine Coast Gunsmithing is proud to introduce a range of Australian made laminated stocks, built right here on the coast, these laminated stocks have been specially engineered for superior strength and stiffness that can be adopted for the precision requirements of bench rest through to the sporter, varmint and big game rifle enthusiast. The superior construction in this type of lamination utilises a built-in spine that is specially engineered into the laminate's core to increase its strength throughout the whole stock, including its weakest point which is around the grip area. Each stock can be tailor made to suit a specific need by the customers choosing, including a range of exotic timber configurations, utilising the beautiful characteristics of timber (yes!, real quality timber is used, not just stained timber, so let your imagination run wild). A range of stock shapes with wide or tapered laminated forends, check pieces as well as light weight options can be accommodated. Here is one of the bench rest stocks made out of New Zealand kauri and we will be showcasing others here as they are finished.
